Optimus Prime Films

In my opinion these are some of the finest directors to ever walk the earth. The stories they tell may not be extremely important, and according to some critics, they may not even be all that highly regarded. But for me, these guys have created some of the most entertaining movies around.

You might look at this list and say "Where the hell is Kurosawa or Hitchcock?! The Wachowski Brothers? They've made two freakin' movies!"

This is a growing list. I may add more classic directors. But I'm a child of the 80's, I grew up with Spielberg and Scorsese, not Fellini and Ford . Although I have a great respect for the filmmakers of the past, I probably won't ever fall in love with their work the way have with these guys. I'm also looking towards the future. Who are the great directors of tomorrow? Who's film am I going to have to see opening day? You'll find a few of those guys below.

Just so you know, this is not a site where you'll find out about their biographies, where they came from, that kind of thing. To tell you the truth, I don't really care much about that. This is a site dedicated to their films, because that is what I love about them.
