The Abyss. is also a very good movie. Again good action, there's a lot of heart in this film and there is a good message about dealing with the unknown.

He is an incredible action director. Terminator 2 really sealed that for me. At the time, and for a few years afterwards it was my favorite movie. I loved the continuation of the story, and the f/x were groud breaking.

True Lies is probably my least favorite of his films. Arnold playing James Bond. The action is fun, but somehow a little less believable than his past films, and for some reason that bothers me. Also how he manipulates his wife doesn't agree with me. Still I will watch this film, at any time.

Titanic, I was a bit sceptical about this one at first. Didn't sound like an action film. The trailer however blew me away, the quick shots of the boat sinking, people jumping overboard. I didn't need that though, I was seeing it purely based on Cameron. Saw it first day. Loved it, I knew it would be a huge hit, had no idea how big. It's basicly Romeo and Juliet on the Titanic, but incredibly well made. One thing that bothers me is, and listen for it, cause it will bother you too. How many freaking times do they yell, "Jack!" "Rose!", hundreds of times.

Cameron uses similar themes throughout his films. One is a strong woman character, from Sarah Conner to Rose. Also a predominant theme is man's mis-use of power, often nuclear bomb power, but in Titanic it is man's assumption, that he is bigger than nature.

I'll be there for what ever he decides to do next.
